Position Overview:
ABC Legal is looking for a software developer that can support our existing core software services and expand upon our web services. A successful candidate will be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines. The candidate should be self-directed and have experience and knowledge of software design, coding, and testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement solutions to requirements that are easily maintainable, deeply tested, and very high qualityObtain a good level of understanding in areas of the product worked onWork with the development and testing teams to ensure consistent, high quality deliveriesContinually strive for increased efficiency, maintainability, and qualityPerform peer design and code reviews and provide feedback on areas that need improvementAssist in the technical and professional growth of team membersMaintain highly cohesive and collaborative relationships with team members and other coworkersQualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience preferred; Min. 3 years requiredBachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience requiredFamiliarity and comfort with agile software development principles and practicesFluency of computer science fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysisExperience and fluency with Java, RESTful APIs, SOAP, WCF or ASP.NET Web APIFamiliarity with relational database systemsStrong analysis skills and the ability to synthesize multiple perspectivesA pragmatic approach to solving problems with off-the-shelf toolsStrong written, oral and visual communication skills, with ability to question, clarify and documentPassionate about building next-generation technologies, enjoys fast-paced environments, and loves to codePerks & Benefits:
