Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical leadership and oversight of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services delivered in accordance with Minnesota DHS and EIDBI requirements, BACB ethical standards, and HIPAA regulations. This role includes assessment, treatment planning, supervision, caregiver collaboration, progress monitoring, and documentation to support high-quality, compliant care.
This position is primarily center-based in Woodbury with limited hybrid flexibility for assessment-related work and documentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment & Treatment Planning
Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and clinically indicated Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)Develop, implement, and update Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) and behavior intervention plans aligned with EIDBI standardsDesign skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs that support meaningful, functional outcomesProgram Oversight & Data-Driven Care
Monitor treatment implementation and client progress through ongoing data collection, graphing, and analysisModify programming based on objective data and clinical judgmentComplete progress summaries, treatment updates, and required documentation within established timelinesSupervision & Staff Support
Provide clinical supervision and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct care staffTrain staff on treatment protocols, ethical practice, and accurate data collectionSupport staff development and maintain supervision requirements in accordance with BACB and DHS guidelines
Family Collaboration & Integrated Care
Partner with families and caregivers to establish goals, review progress, and provide caregiver trainingCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members (OT, SLP, psychology) to support coordinated careCommunicate clearly and professionally while maintaining confidentialityCompliance & Quality Assurance
Maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready clinical recordsAdhere to DHS, EIDBI, BACB, and HIPAA standardsParticipate in clinical reviews and quality improvement activities as neededQualificationsRequired
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related fieldCurrent BCBA certification in good standingMinnesota Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or willingness to obtain prior to start dateAbility to meet DHS background study requirementsExperience working with children with developmental or behavioral needsStrong clinical writing, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred
