    Position Overview
    A-Team Youth & Family LLC is seeking a licensed, master’s-level therapist to provide in-home, community-based family therapy services for youth and families referred through the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS).

    This is not a remote position — therapy sessions take place in clients’ homes or community settings throughout Marion County and surrounding areas.

    This is a 1099 subcontractor role — not a W-2 position — and ideal for experienced, compassionate professionals who value autonomy, strong support, and meaningful work.

    What We Offer:

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide home-based individual, family, and/or group therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventionsDeliver trauma-informed care that addresses emotional, behavioral, and relational needsCollaborate with families, DCS, schools, courts, and other service providersComplete mental health assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and on timeFacilitate family engagement and support reunification and preservation goalsMaintain professional boundaries while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respectQualifications

    Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or related clinical fieldLicensed in Indiana (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, HSPP) OR license-eligible and under required supervisionAt least 1 year of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and/or familiesOngoing weekly supervision required if not independently licensed (agency-supported)Knowledge of child abuse/neglect, child development, family dynamics, and community resourcesReliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insuranceAbility to pass criminal, BMV, CPS, FBI fingerprint, and state background checksStrong clinical documentation, organizational, and time management skillsSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently

    Bonus Points If You Have:

    Bilingual (Spanish/English)Experience working with trauma, attachment, or child welfare-involved familiesFamiliarity with Indiana’s DCS and child welfare system

This is a 1099 subcontractor role — not a W-2 position — and ideal for professionals who have a strong understanding of patient care, managing caseloads, and strong interpersonal skills to manage a team.

    This is not a remote position — services are delivered in person within Marion County and surrounding areas.

    This is a 1099 subcontractor role, not a W-2 position — ideal for experienced, compassionate professionals who value autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful work.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide home-based casework, including safety planning, family preservation, reunification services, and visitation facilitationCollaborate with families, DCS, schools, and service providersAttend and document family team meetings, court hearings, and school conferences as neededComplete reports and documentation accurately and on time using designated systems Maintain appropriate boundaries and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professionalism 
    Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in social work, psychology, or a related human services fieldAt least 1 year of experience in child welfare, case management, or family services preferredReliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance Ability to pass criminal, BMV background checks, including FBI fingerprinting, CPS, and state backgroundStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with excellent time management and documentation skills Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
