A+ Staffing is hiring for a nonprofit client seeking an experienced Finance & Office Manager to oversee financial operations and support day-to-day administrative functions. This role works closely with the CEO and leadership team to manage accounting, budgeting, compliance, office operations, vendor relationships, and organizational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting functions, including AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash flow, and general ledger activities.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and audit preparation.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.Oversee office operations, vendor management, contracts, procurement, and technology coordination.Support HR administration, including onboarding, benefits administration, and recordkeeping.Develop and improve systems, controls, and processes that enhance efficiency and transparency.Partner with leadership on strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).4+ years of finance and accounting experience.Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting skills.Experience supporting executive leadership and organizational planning.Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial software.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams.
Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the Houston or Dallas area.)
