    Job Summary:

    We are currently seeking highly motivated and self-driven Account Manager (AM). The AM is responsible for using their knowledge of company products to expand the base of accounts, grow sales, and meet customer needs in their respective region. The AM will develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Selling Happy Floors Hard Surface flooring.Increasing business and sales for existing accounts and developing new ones.Weekly travel throughout the territory (up to 4-5 days of overnight travel per month (can change based on territory).Strong and proven ability to sell and close deals on displays, samples and inventory while balancing professional and timely service.Proven ability to foster meaningful, long-term business relationships.Identify and develop nontraditional opportunities for sales.Report to Regional Sales Manager (RSM), who will work closely with you to train and help you to achieve your goals.Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.Possess in-depth product knowledge.Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.CRM/ Repsly adoption to manage territory.Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.Continuously improve through feedback.

    Travel: 50%+ travel required

    Flooring industry background is preferredLuxury brand and high-end home furnishing experience a plus.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales RepresentativeA bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.Microsoft Office skills.Experience with CRM a plus.Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

    Essential Responsibilities:


    Customer Service Leadership & Escalation Management

    · Oversee advanced Customer Service activities and complex operational matters

    · Manage escalated customer situations and ensure timely resolution

    · Support better experience of high-level customers with high business impact (Elite and A customers)

    · Ensure customer communication remains professional, proactive, and solution-oriented

    · Identify recurring service issues and implement corrective actions

    · Develop, review, and modify goals and incentive programs which will motivate employees, encourage

    teamwork, and produce the most desired results for the company and customers.

    · Monitor procedures or implement for standards to increase while ensuring efficiency integration and

    utilization of resources to meet established goals, metrics, and objectives.

    Senior CSR Oversight & Team Support

    · Coach and mentor staff, provide and promote professional growth through staff development and in-service training.

    · Monitor workflow prioritization, responsiveness, and service execution quality

    · Reinforce accountability and operational consistency within the team

    · Effective recruitment efforts to establish and maintain staffing scheduling requirements as well as the

    company objectives behind world class customer service are met.

    · Review individual and group performance goals while conducting formal performance evaluations and coach or take disciplinary action as necessary.

    · Prepare and provide weekly accomplishments as well as upcoming week focus point by outlining daily,

    weekly, and monthly performance, observations, suggestions, trends, and opportunities including budgeting and forecasting.


    Sales Partnership & Account Coordination

    · Serve as a primary operational support partner for Sales Representatives and Regional Managers

    Operational Governance & Customer Retention

    · Support implementation and enforcement of SOPs and service standards

    Requirements:

    Minimum Requirements

    · Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Operations, or related field

    · 5+ years of Customer Service or Sales Support Experience

    · 2–4 years of leadership or workforce management experience preferred

    · Strong experience managing escalations and strategic customer situation

    · Strong background in QA, coaching, and KPI management

    · ERP/CRM experience preferred (Great Plains, Zendesk, 4Voice)

    · Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program across distribution centers and warehouse operations

    · Establish company-wide safety standards and best practices for warehouse operations

    · Support workers' compensation management and return-to-work programs

    · Drive continuous improvement to reduce recordable injuries and lost time incidents


    Training & Employee Engagement

    · Develop and deliver safety training programs for warehouse employees, supervisors, and site leaders

    · Lead forklift certification and material handling safety training

    · Conduct new hire safety orientation for warehouse and operations employees

    · Facilitate toolbox talks and ongoing safety communications

    · Establish and support site-level safety committees


    Reporting & Analytics

    · Track and report key safety metrics including:

    · Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR)

    · Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIR)

    · Near Miss Reporting

    · Safety Observations

    · Training Completion

    · Provide Daily / Weekly / Monthly safety performance updates to leadership

    · Identify trends and recommend improvement initiatives


    Multi-Site Support & Travel

    · Conduct regular visits to distribution centers and warehouse locations within the assigned region

    · Partner with site leadership on safety improvements, audits, and corrective action follow-up

    · Participate in operational reviews and leadership meetings

    · Support new facility openings, expansions, and operational changes

    · Travel required, with a minimum of 25%

    Requirements:

    Required

    · Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    · 5+ years of safety leadership experience in distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment

    · Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices

    · Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations

    · Experience with forklift safety and material handling environments

    · Strong communication and leadership skills

    · Ability to influence and drive cultural change across multiple locations

    Preferred

    · CSP, ASP, or other safety certification

    · Experience in distribution or building materials industry

    · Experience building safety programs across multiple warehouse locations

    · Bilingual (Spanish) preferred


    Work Environment

    · Minimum 25% travel to distribution centers and warehouse locations within the assigned region
