    TRUSTED ADVISOR TO C-SUITE EXECUTIVES

    FULL-TIME/IN-PERSON LEADERSHIP ROLE

     

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Chief of Staff/Director of Enterprise Operations serves within the Executive Office as a senior leadership partner to the President and Chief Executive Officer, providing strategic and operational leadership across a diversified portfolio of privately held businesses and affiliated organizations owned by an ultra-high net worth family. The position is responsible for ensuring executive priorities are executed with precision while supporting the continued growth, operational excellence, and long term success of the family's business enterprise.

     

    Serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the Chief of Staff/Director of Enterprise Operations translates vision into execution by leading enterprise wide initiatives, improving organizational performance, implementing scalable systems, and overseeing complex operational projects. The role requires exceptional discretion, sound business judgment, executive presence, and the ability to navigate multiple business interests while maintaining strict confidentiality.

     

    The successful candidate will function as an extension of the Executive Office, coordinating strategic initiatives, resolving operational challenges, and driving accountability across the organization. Although workforce solutions and staffing operations represent a significant area of responsibility, the position also provides leadership and operational support across existing and future business ventures as organizational priorities evolve.

     

    This is not a traditional operations position. It is an executive leadership role requiring a highly accomplished professional capable of supporting the Executive Office of an entrepreneurial, ultra-high net worth family whose business interests span multiple industries. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and results driven, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate executive needs, and deliver exceptional results with minimal supervision.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Director of Enterprise Operations may directly or indirectly supervise department managers, administrative personnel, project teams, and other employees as assigned.

    Responsibilities include:

     

    Conducting interviews and assisting with hiring decisions.Providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development.Establishing performance expectations and accountability measures.Conducting performance evaluations.Delegating work assignments and monitoring progress.Addressing employee performance concerns in partnership with Human Resources.Supporting workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.Leading cross functional teams and enterprise wide projects.

     

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide operational leadership across multiple business functions and affiliated organizations.Partner with executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives and long term organizational objectives.Develop, document, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures.Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical solutions that improve productivity, quality, profitability, and customer service.Lead enterprise wide operational improvement initiatives.Manage complex projects from planning through implementation while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and business objectives are achieved.Develop executive dashboards, performance reports, and operational metrics.Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate organizational effectiveness.Support workforce solutions operations, including recruiting, onboarding, client implementation, compliance, payroll coordination, and operational execution.Coordinate implementation of new client contracts, operational transitions, and business expansion initiatives.Collaborate with department leaders to improve communication, workflow efficiency, and service delivery.Evaluate technology solutions and automation opportunities that improve operational performance.Conduct operational research and prepare recommendations for executive leadership.Assist executive leadership in evaluating acquisitions, partnerships, new business opportunities, and organizational growth initiatives.Manage confidential business projects requiring sound judgment and discretion.Represent executive leadership during meetings, project discussions, and operational initiatives as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in operations management, business administration, project management, executive leadership support, or a related field.Experience supporting executive leadership within a fast paced, service based organization is strongly preferred.Experience developing operational systems, standard operating procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.Experience leading cross functional teams and enterprise wide projects.Experience within staffing, workforce solutions, security services, professional services, or other multi location service organizations is preferred.Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
