    About the Opportunity:The Management Trainee (MT) Program is a structured, hands-on leadership development program designed for individuals who want to build a long-term career in retail and operations leadership.Through real operational experience, mentorship, and guided training, you’ll gain exposure to multiple areas of the business while developing the skills needed to lead teams, support store operations, and drive results. You’ll receive ongoing coaching and support throughout the program—you are not expected to know everything on day one.

    What the Training looks Like:Introduction to company culture, values, and leadership expectations.Product, department, and business-area rotations throughout the program.Department-level skill development with readiness and progress assessments.On-the-job learning supported by coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
    Responsibilities:The trainee will undergo training and evaluations for 6 to 8 months. After the training period, qualified candidates will be directly assigned to a store and be responsible for the corresponding department SOP, product knowledge, planning, ordering, organization, employee management and all other supervisory duties.Manage the department's daily operation and meet the company standards.Work with the store management team to design store promotion plans and meet sales targets.Maintain product display, ensure freshness, and keep shelves fully-stocked.Order products based on on-hand inventory, promotion events, and delivery schedule.Receive poultry shipments and examine the quantity and quality.Control inventory movement (FIFO), including rotating product display, organizing freezer and cooler and directing physical inventory count.Familiar with local vendors and popular local products.Use label updating and price sign printing computer programs efficiently.Provide schedules to department employees and manage attendance.Work on Human Capital Management, including coaching, operational training, mentoring, and performance review.Maintain a safe and clean workplace.Perform other duties as needed.
    Qualifications:Previous experience in related fields.Work in an environment with varying temperature and use equipment.Require lifting 25+ lbs objects and long periods of standing.Must be able to work at a flexible schedule (night, weekends & holidays) and relocate if necessary.Must be able to travel between different stores for training purposes.Capable of reading, analyzing, interpreting technical procedures and training materials.Able to speak, write, present, commute, and respond to information and questions.Great interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume.Familiar with inventory management programs, Microsoft Office, IT retail, or SAP are highly preferred.Commit to company values and customer services.Bilingual English, Chinese, and Spanish is highly preferred.Authorized to work in the United States.At least 18 years old.

    Shift Information:Weekend & Holiday required.1 day off per week (day off is not fixed, follow trainer's schedule).40-45 hours per week.6 days a week.Overtime as needed.
    Compensation:The pay range for this job starts at $22 - $28 per hour during training period. After the employee passed the final assessment, they will be promoted from hourly employee to exempt employee. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.     Responsibilities:Overall Department Operation – Supervise the operation of the Bakery  department, starting from product preparation, product display, material distribution, and inventory control to increase product exposure and process efficiency for higher sales.Customer Service – Ensure department team members provide excellent customer service, identify any issues in the early stage and propose action plans on a continued basis, and encourage and answer all customer suggestions and complaints to increase customer service optimization.PI Count & System Usage – Use the company system to track product sales and inventory, ensure accurate inventory numbers, and efficiently conduct the monthly physical inventory count.Omni & HQ Support – Assist in supervising and performing Omni channel services and initiatives and all accounting, administrative, maintenance, and marketing duties, including identifying efficient and productive weekly marking plans by utilizing all resources available to achieve better performance and maximize sales. Ordering & Receiving – Make reasonable product ordering according to the company’s order, schedule, and deadlines, and check product quality and quantity when receiving products.Stocking & Processing – Distribute, refill, and rotate deliveries, products, and stock room using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) methods to meet customer needs and manage the cutting, trimming, and packing of products into saleable sizes, weights, and labeling to reflect accurate pricing information.Display – Supervise the decorating of stores with attractive product displays and proper signage to showcase freshness and quality, create and distribute promotional materials to customers, and ensure shelf tags are labeled correctly to drive sales and marketing initiatives.Compliance, Loss Prevention, & Reporting – Monitor and safeguard all store department assets, report any department accidents, urgent notices, and other violations or incidents, and report them to the Department Manager.Safety – Maintain and ensure safe and sanitary working environments throughout the store and department and comply with internal procedures and safety codes to meet federal, state, and local regulations.Maintenance – Maintain and clean equipment, machines, and appliances regularly to ensure freshness and quality of products, monitor equipment to be at the appropriate temperature, coordinate maintenance accordingly, and keep accurate logs according to the company policies, state food safety, and health regulations.Sustainability – Assist in managing the expiration dates of products to take expired products off the shelves and order new ones on time to refill and replenish products to meet customer demands.Promotion & Demo – Follow company procedures to plan for promotion events, prepare the appropriate amount of products, set reasonable prices to increase sales, and arrange demos when necessary.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
    Qualification:1 year of clerical experience in the produce department or equivalent is required.Bilingual in English/Mandarin, English/Cantonese, or English/Spanish is preferred.Ability to work assigned schedules, including weekend, and holidays as needed.Currently possess or have the ability to possess a Food Handler’s certificate.

    Key Responsibilities:Procurement Operations & SAP Management:Execute and monitor the full purchase order (PO) lifecycle within SAP, ensuring timely processing, accuracy, and proper maintenance of procurement records.Proactively monitor lead times for both standard orders and new product launches to prevent stockouts and operational delays.Assist in maintaining product master data, pricing, and vendor information within the ERP system.Assist in cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Cross Departmental Collaboration:Act as a professional liaison between internal stakeholders (e.g., store managers, marketing, operations) and vendors.Ensure procurement requests from internal departments include all required information (e.g., MOQ, technical specifications, estimated usage, and approved budget) before processing, acting as a gatekeeper to prevent wasteful or incorrect procurement.Provide timely updates on order status, ETA, and any potential supply chain disruptions to affected departments.Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of goods and resolve delivery discrepancies.Vendor & Inventory Management:Coordinate with vendors for quotations, order confirmations, and effective issue resolution (e.g., shipping delays, quality issues, or billing discrepancies).Monitor inventory levels to minimize stockouts and assist in tracking excess or obsolete inventory to optimize inventory carrying costs.Ensure all procurements comply with company policies and formal purchasing procedures (e.g., preventing unauthorized "emergency" purchases outside of standard workflows).Perform other duties as assigned by management.
    Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of one year of professional procurement or purchasing experience.Language: Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin is required.
    Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, report generation, and formula usage) and Google Workspace applications (e.g., Gmail, Google Sheets, Drive, and Slides).Experience with ERP systems is highly preferred (SAP knowledge is a significant plus).
    Professional Competencies:Excellent Communication: Ability to translate technical or operational needs into clear communications for vendors, and provide professional feedback to internal departments regarding procurement processes.Organizational & Problem Solving: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment, and proactively resolve discrepancies.Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the grocery or retail industry is a plus.Soft Skills: A service-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain high standards while building collaborative relationships across departments and with vendors.
