Your Role:
As a Fitness Assistant, youll be the welcoming face of our Wellness center, helping members reach their wellness goals in a safe and supportive environment. Youll assist with orientations, maintain records, support cleanliness and organization, and help create a positive member experience.
Schedule:
1-2 morning/daytime hours12 evenings per week (3:00 PM7:00 PM)Saturdays as needed (6:45 AM3:00 PM)Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist members; provide tours of the facility.Guide new members through individualized exercise plans and discuss fitness goals and any necessary precautions.Demonstrate proper use of fitness equipment.Maintain member records and input data into MySeniorCenter.Conduct follow-up with new or inactive members.Support cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.Assist with volunteer and intern onboarding and mentorship.Assist with Zoom operation for virtual fitness programming as needed.Attend team and organizational meetings.Perform other duties as assigned by the Fitness & Wellness Director or Manager.Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED requiredExperience in fitness, wellness, or health-related fieldExperience working with older adults and community-based services a plusCPR, AED, and First Aid certified (or ability to obtain and maintain)Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entryExcellent communication, customer service, and organizational skillsAble to handle confidential information appropriatelyValid drivers license requiredWhy Work With Us?
