Experienced Mason / Restoration Mason
412 Masonry & Restoration is seeking experienced, dependable, and motivated Masons and Restoration Masons to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality commercial, industrial, historic, and residential masonry restoration throughout the Pittsburgh area. We are looking for craftsmen who take pride in their work, work safely, and can produce quality results with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Lay brick, CMU block, stone, and veneer.Perform tuckpointing and repointing using proper mortar mixes.Remove and replace damaged brick, block, and stone.Install steel lintels, flashing, anchors, and wall ties.Rebuild chimneys, parapet walls, retaining walls, and foundations.Perform structural masonry repairs and restoration.Match existing mortar joints, brick, and stone for seamless repairs.Operate masonry saws, grinders, mixers, lasers, and other hand and power tools.Read blueprints, layouts, and specifications.Build and work safely from scaffolding, swing stages, and aerial lifts.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures.Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of masonry experience preferred.Experience in restoration work is highly preferred.Ability to lay brick, block, and stone to professional standards.Experience with tuckpointing, lintel replacement, waterproofing, and masonry restoration.Ability to lift 75+ pounds.Comfortable working at heights.Reliable transportation.Valid driver’s license preferred.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills
