    Overview

    A leading regional healthcare system in New York s Capital Region is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a well-established, growing cardiology team. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling models, excellent compensation, and a supportive, team-based environment providing both inpatient and outpatient care.

    Position Details

    Scheduling Options:
    • Weekend rounding only (Fri Sun, 12 PM 12 AM)
    • Traditional hospital + clinic model (40 hrs/week, 1:5 call rotation)
    • Hospital-only 7-on/7-off schedule (7 AM 7 PM)

    Weekend Call: 1:5 rotation (telephone call support; rare in-person requirements)

    Patient Load: outpatients/day; inpatient team rounds on patients daily

    EMR: Epic

    Locations: Multiple sites in Albany and Troy, NY

    Compensation & Incentives

    Guaranteed Base Salary: $600,000 annually

    Bonuses & Additional Incentives:
    • $75,000 Sign-on Bonus
    • $25,000 Retention Bonus
    • $25,000 Relocation Bonus (for candidates relocating from outside the Capital Region)
    • Productivity & Quality Incentives
    • Extra Shift Pay

    Candidate Requirements

    Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine (must obtain certification within 2 years of hire)

    Completion of a Cardiology Fellowship (required)

    Active or eligible New York medical license

    Clean malpractice history

    Willing to cover both Albany and Troy locations

    Not open to visa sponsorship or locums arrangements

    Open to 2026 new grads 1099 considered

    Position Overview

    A well-established, mission-driven health system in Albany, NY is seeking a Board-Certified Inpatient Neurologist to join its hospital-based neurology team. This is a unique and flexible role offering no outpatient responsibilities and a true work-life balance rarely found in inpatient neurology.

    Responsibilities

    Provide comprehensive inpatient neurological care with no clinic/outpatient duties.

    Work a flexible schedule: 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off.

    Manage a wide spectrum of neurological conditions including:

    Stroke

    Epilepsy

    Brain tumors

    Dementia

    Neuropathies

    Movement disorders

    Acute back/neurological pain syndromes

    Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, physician-led team focused on quality, compassionate care.

    Serve patients in a Primary Stroke Center designated facility with strong neurodiagnostic support and subspecialist consultation.
