Valid Class A or B CDL.Clean driving record with no moving violations.Skilled at driving large vehicles, including maneuvering and parking. Ability to professionally interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers. Summary/objective
Assistant Operations Managers ensure a smooth business environment with a focus of optimal customer service performance. They are responsible for implementing workflow procedures based on directions from the company’s Operations Manager. Duties include supervising, managing, and scheduling facility employees during day-to-day processes. Managing the overall safe operation of facility, daily route scheduling, inventory, customer opportunities, and collections. Providing excellent customer service and a safe work environment.

Work closely with the operations manager to oversee daily business operationsResponsible for enforcing company policies and procedures within the officePerform facility opening and closing functionsManage fleet to ensure trucks are serviced and operable according to schedulePrepare, evaluate, and balance the employee and delivery schedulesManage customer relationships and resolve customer issuesManage facility inventory and assetsWork and manage warehouse including load and unload third party trucks and company trucks using forklift and pallet jacksProactively develop and recommend strategies for better workplace efficiency, safety, and goal achievementAttend to email and phone correspondenceLiaise between managers, customers, and employeesFill in for Operations Manager in times of absence, including making executive decisions, holding meetings, and providing accountabilityCompetencies/skills
