Aspect's geotechnical engineering staff tackle challenges on a variety of complex projects all over the northwest ranging from bridge replacements, landslide stabilization, transportation and roadway design, water, and wastewater conveyance and treatment, reservoirs and dams, mid- and high-rise buildings, steep-slope sensitive areas, and floodplain and natural habitat restoration.

    Job Description:
    Work directly and closely with Aspect geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists to learn core skills and how to effectively apply engineering strategies and solutions on various tasks.
    Direct and document subsurface explorations, instrumentation, and laboratory testing of soils and rock.
    Participate in a broad suite of geotechnical engineering analyses, including slope stability analyses, seismic evaluations, shallow and deep foundation design, ground improvement design, excavation and shoring evaluations, and other challenging technical evaluations.
    Participate in plan sheet development and material quantity estimates for site/grading plans and retaining walls using AutoCAD.
    Assist in preparing strategic, tailored, and cutting-edge deliverables such as written reports, figures, and maps with a team of professionals.
    Collaborate with project teams outside of Aspect, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, to share project information, objectives, and geotechnical engineering recommendations.

    Essential Functions of an IPS Teaching Fellow
    Support Lead Teacher in Implementing High Quality Classroom Instruction
    Collaborate with lead teacher to build an empowering learning environment that excites and invests students in their learning
    Work with lead teacher in delivery of daily instructional program, including literacy, math, and social emotional learning lessons
    Exemplify IPS's core values in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues
    Implement academic interventions for students based on data
    Serve as a Mentor to Students
    Coach, support and advocate for mentees throughout their academic career
    Start each day with student mentees to set and monitor their goals
    In Collaboration with Colleagues, Plan and Execute an Enrichment Class
    Plan weekly lessons based on IPS instructional frameworks
    Implement lessons aligned with IPS core instructional and behavioral practices
    Reflect on progress made after each lesson
    Commit to Professional Learning, Development, and Growth
    Engage in regular coaching with an instructional coach
    Actively participate in ongoing professional development

    COVID Vaccination
