    Position Summary:
    Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be

    Confirms membership, issues temporary membership cards, and occasionally process new memberships on computer.
    Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
    Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers,
    company website, and other related information.
    Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail.
    Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
    May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
    Other Responsibilities:
    Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.

    Summary



    Serves as the initial company contact at Daiichi Sankyo Inc. for all incoming guests and phone calls. Ensure that visitors and callers are greeted appropriately, efficiently and in a timely and helpful manner.     Responsibilities
    - General Reception Duties
    - Greet, assist, and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries following security protocols (including use of employee and department directories)
    - Screen incoming phone calls and efficiently route to the appropriate employee or external contacts
    - Use telecommunication and computer systems following corporate IT policy for phone and computer workstation operation
    - Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

    - Execute the daily operations of the corporate reception area, including safety procedures and in-house assistance to employees and visitors
    - Act as the first line of security for the building and maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges
    - Work with SPR Supervisor to ensure all procedures are followed to process visitors and maintain appropriate records of activities
    - Complete corporate projects including updates to phone/employee lists, refresh of emergency and safety protocol documents, and maintenance of visitor logs
    - Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

    Position Purpose: Performs a wide variety of duties, some of a confidential nature. Performs general secretarial duties which may be required but not limited to answering phones, basic computer functions, typing, filing, copying, distributing mail, proofreading, etc. Provides monitoring of students as needed.

    Essential Performance Responsibilities
    Serves as building receptionist.

    Documents lost and found items turned into the office.
    Assists with student cumulative folders.
    Uses intra-school communication systems including intercom, alarms, paging, etc. as required.
    Serves as a back up to create school bulletin.
    Serves as a back up to the data/registrar position.
    Follows oral and written directions accurately.

    Additional Duties
    Performs other related tasks as assigned by the principal or other administrative staff as designated by the Superintendent.

    Equipment: This position requires the ability to use basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machine. Must always comply with OPS's guidelines for equipment use.

    Travel: Limited travel may be required.
