Primary Objective of role:
To carry out the assembly, fit-out and pre-delivery testing of the Dolphin WashWall system, Inc to exacting standards – applying timber, plumbing and electrical skills so that every unit leaves the factory fully assembled, tested and ready for installation on site.
Key responsibilities:
1. To construct and assemble timber and panel-based module carcasses, mirror frames and support
components to match project drawings.
2. To fit and align mirrors, hinges, gas struts, lock keeps and mount buttons to precise tolerances (e.g.
consistent 3mm mirror gaps and correct alignment to datums).
3. To carry out plumbing within modules: hot/cold feeds, hot loop runs, soap plumbing and push-fit or
copper connections
4. To assist with connection and installation of components per competency: control panels, din rail
terminals, sensors, lighting boards and RCD/MCB arrangements.
5. To prepare units for factory testing: check for leaks, and verify tap, soap, dryer, sensor and lighting
functions against the commissioning checklist.
6. To work from project drawings, parts lists and revision-controlled documentation, ensuring every
module and mirror is correctly labelled and matched to its project reference.
7. To perform visual and functional checks prior to sign-off, recording results accurately and flagging
any defects or non-conformances.
8. To maintain a right-first-time approach, taking care with irreplaceable components
9. To keep tools, benches and work areas clean, organized and safe.
10. To assist with packing, protection and preparation of finished systems for dispatch.
11. To follow all health and safety procedures, including safe two-person manual handling of heavy
assemblies.
12. To support continuous improvement by suggesting practical improvements to build methods and
workshop processes.
