    Full-time, 12-month Clinician-Educator Faculty Position (non-tenure-track), rank commensurate with experience.
    JOB SUMMARY:
    The Occupational Therapy Creighton Phoenix Faculty position is responsible for teaching, scholarship, and service to the department and the university. Based on the Creighton University Phoenix Health Sciences Campus, primary responsibilities include engaging research and grant activities, and conducting laboratory and experiential components of OT curriculum in the OTD program (e.g., mental health, upper extremity rehab, physical rehab, neuro-rehab, gerontology, and orthopedics), in collaboration with course instructors on the Omaha Creighton campus.     Creighton University is seeking to hire a full time Clinical Placements and Preceptorships Coordinator for the School of Nursing at our beautiful Phoenix Campus.
    This role is responsible for coordinating activities and functions for the campus and ensuring goals and objectives are accomplished.
    Works with internal and external constituents and builds relationships for the benefit of the College of Nursing and its students.
    Interprets and administers contracts and corresponds with outside agencies and students regarding placements and preceptorship questions.
    Work in partnership with the Student Operations Manager for the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance to obtain placements and preceptorships for our students.
    Works collaboratively with the Director and Assistant Director for Clinical Placements and Compliance on Omaha campus.
    Qualifications
    6 years administrative and/or office management experience post degree, preferably in higher education
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
    High level of Customer service focus both face-to-face and e-communications
    Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
    Skills
    Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
    Exquisite interprofessional skills.
    Familiarity with learning management systems and database management.
    Strong interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community (to include face to face & e-communications).

    Creighton University, College of Nursing (CON) in Phoenix, AZ invites applications for Special Faculty positions for the 2022/3 Spring, Summer, and Fall. Specialties from Medical/Surgical, Psychiatric/mental Health, Critical Care, Community Health, Maternal/Child, and Pediatrics. Well-qualified candidates will demonstrate a commitment to teaching, and practice, and be responsible to educate undergraduate nursing students.

    The CON hires Special Faculty mostly for the following areas:
    1) Labs: Safety & Quality labs, Health Assessment Lab dependent upon the number of sections of lab a Special Faculty can work anywhere from 2 to 18 hour/week.
    2) Clinical rotations: varying number of hours/week (from 12 to 18). Will require direct supervision of students in the clinical areas.
    Qualifications:
    Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or earned doctorate in nursing) or possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and be currently enrolled in a MSN program to be considered;
    Two (2) years clinical experience in one of the following specialties from Medical/Surgical, Psychiatric/mental Health, Critical Care, Community Health, Maternal/Child, Pediatrics; experience in classroom, clinical, and/or on-line instruction
    A current unencumbered license as an RN in the state of Arizona, or eligibility for license
    Clinical expertise in area of nursing;
    Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
    Strong collaborative/teamwork ability to motivate, and inspire individuals at all levels of the organization;
    Ability to foster student and staff learning, development, and decision making in support of goals, success, wellness, and needs;
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly and effectively with a diversity of populations;
    Empathy and compassion for the experiences of others;

    Ability to work at times non-traditional business hours when needed (i.e. weekends, evening, and/or holiday)
