    The Main Responsibilities
    The Director of Local Network Implementation will provide management and direction for the Engineering and Construction organization within the Local Network Implementation Division across the Arizona and New Mexico Markets.

    Develop and implement innovative process/programs to provide high quality service within established time frames and to meet defined financial criteria.
    Serve as the market lead and interface on all engineering and construction matters helping to ensure conformance to established practices and procedures for Engineering and Construction in the market.
    Essential Job Functions:
    Manage and administer the engineering and construction activities to provide an efficient operation to provide quality service in a timely manner.
    Prepare plans and specifications on all projects within the market to support the development of the capital budget.
    Provide LNI engineers guidelines and direction on designs and plans to evaluate and implement new services, technologies, and products within established standards.

    What We Look For in a Candidate
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or the equivalent in training and experience.
    Minimum 7-9 years inside & outside plant experience in telecommunications with in-depth knowledge of ISP/OSP equipment, designs, construction/installation or the equivalent in training and experience.
    Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills are required to work cross-functionally, with bargained for and non-bargained for personnel, contractors and external vendors.
    Comprehensive knowledge of network topologies spanning switching, access, and transport portions of the network.
    Working knowledge of regulatory rules on a national and state level.
    Perform analysis and comparisons of technical information and the ability to prepare written and oral reports to read out the findings.
    Working knowledge of and the ability to perform economic analysis including internal rate of return analysis, discounted payback period, net present value, profit index, buy-vs.-lease analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and breakeven analysis.

    * A basic understanding of truck and equipment knowledge to include cranes, dump bodies, and utility bodies?
    * The ability to investigate options for specifications to source costs and lead-times
    * Experience in completing quotes in a timely manner, updating the system, and working with sales representatives
    * Experience working with Purchasing and maintaining current price and specification data for key suppliers?
    * The ability to handle high volume of sales calls and quoting?

    Where you'll work:
    This is a hybrid position, so you'll work from home at least 75% of the time with the other time in office.
    Compensation :
    Starting pay is between $19.75 - $20.75 per hour. This Claims position is eligible for up to $2,000 in Welcome Bonuses throughout the first year of employment.
    This job currently offers a temporary Targeted $2 Premium Differential. You will receive an extra $2 for each hour worked through the duration of this program. The differential rate, timing of the program, and program eligibility are subject to change at any time.
