Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Cage Cashier is probably the first person the guest contacts in the Cage area. Because of this it is imperative that the Cage Cashier be pleasant, courteous, helpful, accurate and knowledgeable. The Cage Cashier is responsible for large amounts of money in exchange for various transactions which include but are not limited to: Exchanging chips, gaming vouchers, cashing checks, redemption and issuance of markers, acceptance of RTM payments. The cashier must be able to replenish their window using the appropriate documentation.

TASKS:
• Completes transactions for customers and other departments within the specified approval guidelines. Demonstrating courtesy and friendliness at all times.
• Provides credit customers with markers and assists new customers in establishing new credit accounts.
• A full knowledge of Title 31 is essential in order to keep track of large cash outs and the tracking of money for Title 31 procedures.

A DAY IN YOUR TAZIKIS LIFE


As a Hospitality Team Member, your day starts with the heart of what we do helping the team prep delicious food! Say hello to your team, grab your prep sheet, and dive in. You may have some pita to season or cookies to bake - the best smelling job in the house! Then youll check the Dining Room and guest areas to make sure they are clean, stocked, and beautiful. Before the doors open for lunch, youll work as a team to assemble catering orders and get your register areas ready. Next, youll welcome guests (get to know your regulars by name!) and place both Dine-In and Take-Out orders for them. When you hear Runner!, you know its time to take a hungry guest their order - but check it closely, because youre the last line of defense for a perfect meal! On your way back to the kitchen, see if you can clear any dishes or tidy up the Dining Room so guests can enjoy it. Keep an ear out for the phone, as youre the one guests are counting on to place phone orders with or maybe ask about hours or directions. As the shift winds down, youll clean and organize your work and guest areas, making sure all is good to go for the next crew. You might grab a tablet and do some online training courses to learn a new station or aim for a leadership role before heading out. The Coffee Shop Attendant / Cashier is responsible of accepting payment for food and beverages and making proper change for guests and fellow employees. Also, he/she interacts with guests while offering and serving different options of food and beverages, according to the Coffee Shop or Outlet menu, charge the guests for their selection and make sure to extend a memorable experience to all our guests.

Education & Experience
