Primary Responsibilities:
As the OptumRx Sales Account Intern, you partner with sales executives on the Growth Force team and health plan leadership to grow health plan business. This includes building client, prospect, and consultant relationships to enhance health plan satisfaction and sales effectiveness. Responsibilities include analyzing complex problems and recommending solutions to remove barriers for the growth teams, communicating opportunities to internal stakeholders with recommendations based on knowledge about customers and competitors, and managing the operational logistics of Salesforce and reporting. Success will be defined as playing a part to increase win rates and increase NPS. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
Strategize, plan, and facilitate meetings with external stakeholders, including consultants, clients and prospects
Manage project plans and determine ROI based on health plan specifics and broader strategy
Create and manage sustainable efficacies to cut down on data entry and reporting components
Analyze metrics to identify trends, best practices and recommend enhancements
Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
Serves as a key resource on who to go to for what
Solve complex problems and develops innovative solutions
Motivates and inspires other team members

Required Qualifications:
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
Experience in client facing positions
Solid PowerPoint skills; experience developing effective visual presentations
Excel wizard; ability to create dynamic reports
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $16.00 to $17.07. The hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $16.00 to $19.18.
