    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Full-Time, Onsite Campus Dietitian to join our food service team with Chartwells Higher Education at MIAMI UNIVERSITY!

    Oxford, Ohio is a charming college town primarily known for being home to Miami University. It's a small and picturesque community with a vibrant campus life, historic architecture, and a welcoming atmosphere. The university plays a central role in shaping the town's character, offering cultural events, sports games, and academic opportunities. Oxford's downtown area features quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it a pleasant place to explore. Overall, it's a lovely town nestled in the rolling hills of southwestern Ohio.


    Key Responsibilities:
    •    Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
    •    Implements Chartwells nutrition and wellness programming
    •    Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
    •    Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
    •    Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
    •    Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
    •    Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts – partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
    •    Operational execution and oversight – hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services
    •    Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs

     

    Qualifications:
    •    Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
    •    Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
    •    Ability to present information in one-on-one setting as well group format
    •    Experience working with special diets and food allergies, required
    •    Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract managed services experience desirable
    •    ServSafe® certified a plus
    •    Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
