    The Special Care Nursery (SCN) is a Level II fifteen private room unit with one room designated for twins with sixteen hardwired monitoring units. The patient population is newborns greater than 1500 grams or 32 weeks gestation of the SCN includes but is not limited to all low-risk newborns and all uncomplicated newborns. Newborns with selected complicated conditions such as physiologic immaturity such as apnea of prematurity, an inability to maintain body temperature, an inability to take oral feedings, who are moderately ill with problems that are expected to resolve and are not anticipated to need sub-specialty services on an urgent basis or who are convalescing from intensive care. This unit is managed by Nationwide Children's and part of the neonatal network in the city.

    About the job:
