Job Title: Product & Imaging Inserter Sweeper - Mailroom
Location: Erlanger, KY 41018
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight)
Position Overview
The Product & Imaging Inserter Sweeper plays a key support role in the mail production process, assisting the Insert Operator with the setup and operation of insertion equipment. This position requires a high attention to detail to ensure accurate sortation of mail streams, adherence to quality standards, and efficient production throughput.
Primary Responsibilities
Review job tickets to verify client requirements and proper inserter configurations.Inspect finished product for accurate folding, sealing, address alignment, sequencing, and delivery quality.Sort inserted mail accurately according to USPS or PSI requirements.Support production goals by maintaining consistent performance on high-volume jobs (#10 envelopes: 120,000–150,000 pages; 6x9 envelopes: 220,000–250,000 pages).Assist in achieving job changeover times of 20 minutes or less.Identify and promptly report machine malfunctions or service needs to the Production Supervisor or on-site technician.Maintain organization, safety, and cleanliness in the work area.Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.Notify Production Supervisor immediately of any quality concerns.Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production operations.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to push large paper rolls on carts.Ability to stand, reach, and move throughout the shift.Must maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to support production goals.Comfortable working overnight hours in a production setting.Prior experience in a print or mail facility is helpful but not required.
