NOW HIRING: ISP / OSP Cable Pullers Mission-Critical Data Center Project Location: Fort Collins, CO Company: Great Basin Staffing LLC Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term (Multi-Year Data Center Project) Pay: $22.00 $27.00/hr DOE Project Overview Great Basin Staffing LLC is building out project teams for a large-scale, mission-critical data center deployment supporting both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) infrastructure. This is a multi-year project involving new fiber routes, structured cabling, equipment pathways, riser builds, and data-hall infrastructure inside a live or partially live data center environment. We are seeking disciplined, detail-driven Low Voltage / Cabling Technicians who understand the precision and documentation standards required in mission-critical, zero-downtime facilities . Key Responsibilities Inside Plant (ISP) Data Center Structured Cabling Pull and route CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A , fiber jumpers, backbone fiber, and copper through trays, ladder rack, J-hooks, basket tray, and containment systems Work inside IDFs, MDFs, server rooms, and data halls Perform rack/stack support, patch panel work, dressing, labeling, and documentation Follow strict pathway practices , bend-radius protection, and data center cable management standards Assist with Fluke/Cert testing and infrastructure quality verification Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Backbone Support Support underground and aerial crews pulling backbone fiber Work around handholes, manholes, conduit/innerduct, vaults, and risers Assist splicing teams by prepping pathways and staging routes Mission-Critical Data Center Requirements Follow MOP/SOP/EOP procedures, change control processes, and restricted access protocols Maintain extremely clean cable runs, labeling conventions, and documentation Work within hot/cold aisle configurations and sensitive operational spaces Communicate with data center operations teams and adhere to escalation procedures General Responsibilities Read and follow basic prints, riser diagrams, and routing layouts Stage materials, prep pathways, and support installation teams Maintain a safe workspace, adhere to PPE requirements, and follow site safety rules Preferred Experience Candidates with the following experience will excel in this project: Mission-Critical Environment Experience Data centers (new build or live environment) Mission-critical facilities (hospitals, NOCs, COs, semiconductor fabs) Strict change control, ticketing, or critical path work Technical Background 1+ year in low voltage, structured cabling, telecom, security, fire alarm, access control, AV , or related fields Experience with: Ladder rack / basket tray Innerduct conduit pathways Patch panels and racks Fiber handling best practices Cable labeling/documentation Familiarity with J-hooks, handholes, manholes, and riser builds Soft Skills Work Habits Works well in controlled, disciplined environments Extremely strong attention to detail Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable in high-security settings Ability to work within large, coordinated project teams Physical Work Conditions Lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders; work on scissor lifts Comfortable in construction zones, data halls, and outdoor OSP areas Ability to work in varying weather during OSP support tasks Long-term, full-time hours with OT potential What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) Weekly payroll through Great Basin Staffing Long-term, multi-year project stability Growth opportunities into Fiber Tech, Lead Tech, QC, or Data Center Deployment roles Exposure to high-demand, mission-critical data center skill sets How to Apply (Fastest) Call/Text: 877-399-9157 (Great Basin Staffing Recruiting) Apply Now: https://recruitcrm.io/apply/17648687350630067292SFG
