    The Opportunity

    The Service Clerk reports to the Store Manager/Senior Assistant Manager and is responsible for maintaining carts, assisting customers with purchases and assistance to their cars as requested, checking prices on products, returning merchandise to store shelves, parking lot and store maintenance.

    Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas.Assist customers with the loading of merchandise into shopping carts. Provide customers with assistance to and loading of their vehicles.Check retail prices on shelf for check stand personnel.Pull merchandise from check stand ("go backs") and return it to the proper shelf. Walk aisles and return any misplaced items to their proper location. Face merchandise on aisles as needed.Monitor cleanliness of store entrance: sweep front area inside and outside and pick up and empty trash regularly throughout the day, mop outside walkways and clean entrance/exit doors daily.Monitor cleanliness of store throughout the day: sweep, mop, and clean and restock restrooms as needed.

    The Sales Associate acts as a point of contact for our customers. The duties of the Sales Associate include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

    Duties and Essential Job FunctionsProvide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.QualificationsEffective interpersonal and oral communication skills.Understanding of safety policies and practices.Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.Basic mathematical skills.Ability to perform cash register functions.Ability to stock merchandise.

As a Trauma Sales Representative, you will be a technical consultant in the Extremities Orthopedics product portfolio specializing in solutions for internal and external fixation to restore the function of the injured body part(s) quickly and effectively. Using your expertise, you will convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing on call clinical case coverage in the operating room while also training surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education/programs in your territory. This position will work collaboratively with key podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, Sterile Processing Department (SPD), administration, clinicians, and researchers. You will work cross-divisionally to increase awareness and adoption cross divisionally.

    This territory will manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.

Your ability to build positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital administration enhances access to customers to provide data-driven, trusted solutions.     What will you need?

    Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceMinimum (4) four years sales experience in medical device industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as a EMS/Paramedic.Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMT/Paramedic.Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.Experience leading/mentoring team members and new sales representatives.

    Travel Requirements: within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnights a month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
