The Controls Technician is responsible for maintaining the Company’s equipment and facilities in good working order at an advanced level in order to support the organization’s production requirements. The Controls Technician excels at all requirements of Industrial Maintenance Technician 1 and Industrial Maintenance Technician 2. Responsible for participating, supporting, and maintaining compliance to the Company’s quality, environmental and occupational health Documents cost and part specifics information. Performs regular preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment. Maintains housekeeping standards while moving through other departments/jobs. Effectively troubleshoot problems with equipment. Regularly corresponds with OEMs and parts suppliers when repairs are necessary. Ensures compliance with all safety regulations related to troubleshooting, installing, or otherwise working with 3 phase AC power circuits (277-480V), 110V circuits, and low voltage systems. Schedules and performs regular preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment. Responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control components (., photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, encoders, and human machine interfaces). Has the knowledge and ability to perform machinery repairs normally performed by OEM service personal. Facilitate training in regards to Robotic and CNC repairs and programming. Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining relay logic circuits and electro-fluid power systems. Provides assistance and training to Technicians with less experience and knowledge. Schedules machinery repairs normally performed by OEM service personal. Responsible for complying with the regulations governing the identification, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste.     Responsible for managing the operations of plasma collection facility, to include financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, personnel and facilities management functions.
