    Implement, administer, coordinate center s programs facility to: The Director of the Pleasant Senior Center is responsible for implementing, administering, and coordinating all programs, services, and facility operations to meet the evolving needs of the senior community. This position ensures the center delivers high-quality nutrition services, meaningful social engagement, and a welcoming, enjoyable environment that naturally attracts and retains clients. In addition, the Director oversees the center s transit program , ensuring reliable and accessible transportation for seniors. A key responsibility includes cultivating and maintaining donor relationships to support ongoing operations and growth, as well as fostering strong community partnerships to enhance visibility, collaboration, and support for the center s mission. The Director must be bondable and maintain bond ability as a condition of employment. Job Duties: Responsible for general management of Senior Center. Manage three main grant funded programs aimed at improving the quality of life for seniors. Research additional grant funding opportunities and give information to Board of Trustees in timely manner. Maintain compliance with all stipulations for grant funding. Prepare grant funding applications. Implement grant funded programs. Prepare annual center budget. Responsible for certification of homebound clients for the Homebound Meal Program, per Aging Disability Services Division (ADSD) program requirements. Responsible for management of senior and disabled transportation program per Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) requirements. Manage ADSD grant funded congregate meals program. Ensure Program Instructions for Nevada (PIN s) are adhered to. Review and approve menus; must meet nutritional guidelines, and eye-appeal. Supervise, coordinate lead center staff. Has the authority to hire, discipline, terminate employees. Sets job duties goals for staff positions. May delegate authority for program duties. Maintain personnel files. Overseas General office management. Responsible for all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, petty cash, payroll, including tax calculations submissions. Implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth center operations. Prepare and submit all required federal state reports. Prepare and submit all grant required monthly quarterly reports. Prepare monthly report to the Board of Trustees. Be present at monthly Board meetings. Ensure center is clean well maintained. Assist the Board of Trustees as requested in supervising capital improvements and/or asset purchases. Assist Board of Trustees with social activities special events at Pleasant Senior Center. Maintain a perpetual events calendar. Maintain public awareness of the center s programs through media, community groups, center participants. Work with representatives of other agencies to provide programs for seniors. Assist the Board of Trustees to recruit additional seniors for membership. Knowledge: Must have management and supervisory skills that include: goal setting, human relations training, ability to direct subordinate employees, professionalism, dedication, compassion, self- starter, management style that fosters open communication. Must have Financial and Bookkeeping skills that include payroll payroll taxes, budgeting, fund accounting, grant applications, policies procedures. Must be willing to undergo a fingerprint background check as required by state federal law. Knowledge of basic nutrition health standards. Must be able to work independently multi-task. Need to be organized. Experience with computer programs. QuickBooks accounting system mainframe data systems a plus.
