ADDL / DISCIPLINE RESPONSIBILITIES Quality Assurance Disciplines • Monitors the overall effectiveness of vehicle and material quality activities. Apply findings to the improvement of quality, productivity, safety and service reliability. • Participates in periodic detail design reviews of drawings and specifications. • Performs analysis of problem areas recommending corrective action to be taken regarding defects in materials, procedures, or equipment. • Assures proper interpretation of material or service specification requirements for the building of a railcar. • Participates in audits of quality assurance inspection activities to ensure effectiveness. Recommends and implements revision to vehicle and material quality assurance procedures to improve product/vehicle performance. • Provides basic statistical process control (SPC) support for Quality Assurance and other SEPTA divisions as required. Summarize and present statistical data on vehicles, material, and operating characteristics throughout SEPTA to enhance delivery of SEPTA service. Vehicle Engineering Disciplines • Provides technical assistance to vehicle maintenance personnel upon request. • Oversees any vehicular drafting assignments which pertain to assigned tasks. • Defines, implements, and documents new or more effective maintenance procedures for an assigned fleet of vehicles. • Utilizes computerized maintenance and vehicle diagnostic systems as an aid in resolving issues related to vehicle system fault or malfunction. • Creates file maintenance inputs to ensure material for vehicle repair/renewal is properly designated. ADDL / DISCIPLINE RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering • Assists in Engineering rail car design and analysis in assigned field. • Work conjointly with different departments within and outside of SEPTA (i.e. Architecture, CE, ME, EE, Structural, Track, C&S, Amtrak and any other Transit authorities or Governmental agencies). • Assists in investigations, troubleshooting, and shop assistance. • Be aware of and practice standards as applicable to assigned field. • Reviews drawings for accuracy and completeness coordinating with other specialty groups within the department where necessary/advisable. • Assists in preliminary planning layouts/sketches were dictated by assigned task/project. • Perform testing and commissioning on new rail vehicles on and off SEPTA property. • Review documentation and attend design reviews, FAIs, tests, and site visits. • Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE B. S. Degree in Engineering required. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office applications required. Working knowledge of SolidWorks and Autocad version 14 or higher required. Must have a valid driver’s license. On a day-to-day basis, we offer the challenge of a varied caseload ranging from seniors to post-surgical cases to high level athletes. We also provide specialty services such as Pilates, dry needling, vestibular therapy, amputee rehab, and aquatic physical therapy. Duties: Outpatient Orthopedic PT Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare teams regarding diagnosis if needed Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, modern modalities, and activities of daily living Compose discharge notes for patients, refer to appropriate outside sources, as necessary Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit Collaboration with the other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program PT license in MA Schedule: Full time, Part time, or Per diem Office Hours Monday- Friday Total Compensation (range): $80k- $100k (depending on experience- base plus bonus) Benefits: Bonus compensation Vacation: 3 weeks PTO, 6 holidays your own Chromebook Continuing education benefits In-house continuing education courses Mentoring program Fun team events and competitions 401K with generous match Health Insurance Dental Insurance Short term and long-term disability Term-life and AD&D Great team atmosphere Student Loan Repayment relief $5000 sign on bonus for full time positions We are seeking a compassionate therapist who is a great communicator and a team player to join our reputable and knowledgeable team.
