    GENERAL FUNCTION:
    The Financial Center Manager will participate in a comprehensive, customized on-boarding and education program. This includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred and Sales & Operations Management. The role will provide a robust learning approach for successful candidates to prepare for a Financial Center Manager role. After successful completion of the training program, the FCMA role will be placed in a Financial Center.



    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Complete FCMA roadmap as intended and all onboarding activities from day one to program completion, including the successful completion of a Consultative Selling Skills Certification
    Become proficient at deepening Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by providing a memorable customer experience
    Gain knowledge, demonstrate and maintain a working knowledge of Fifth Third's products, services processes, and internal resources to stay informed, guide and lead the team
    Become skilled at the consultative sales process to proactively identify the financial needs of current or prospective customers and recommend the appropriate solutions to meet those needs
    Understand how to develop an integrated book of business strategy in which all customers, through all channels, have a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are assigned to the best banker for proactive ongoing support
    Learn how to source, develop, coach and lead a team that reinforces our Core Values and business strategies
    Learn to cultivate a One Bank culture that proactively collaborates with business partners
    Participate in activities that benefit the communities we serve
    Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies and procedures, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee
    Additional duties as assigned
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Assist in providing employees timely, candid and constructive feedback; assist in the development of employees to their full potential and provides challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; recognize and reward employees for accomplishments.



    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
    College degree or two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment
    Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication
    Capable of analyzing credit and financial information
    Ability to successfully execute and coach sales activities
    Exhibits business acumen
    Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions
    This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). The NMLS web site (mortgage.nationwidelicensingsystem.org) provides the MU4R questions and registration.

    Part Time Retail Merchandiser

    The Retail Merchandiser is a part-time position that performs service work in the Hallmark department in various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores and mass retailers. These positions do not service Hallmark Card Shops.

    This is your opportunity to represent the world's best-known greeting card brand and develop retailer relationships in your community. Hallmark provides paid training, paid travel time and mileage reimbursement between stores and access to a variety of corporate discounts.



    There are three major components of this PART-TIME position:

    1) Day to Day Service:

    Product merchandising: You will handle all aspects of product merchandising within your assigned stores. You will use a Hallmark-issued, hand-held mobile device to replenish, straighten and track inventory of Hallmark products. This could include products placed inside the Hallmark department or within other areas of the store.

    Store employee and customer interaction: You must interact in a professional manner with store employees, store management and customers while in the store.

    Schedule: Your Territory Supervisor will clarify your specific schedule. Work is typically scheduled Monday through Friday during the day and hours will increase during holiday periods.

    2) Holiday Support:

    Hallmark's business is season driven. Your scheduled days and hours will increase the week before and after the following holidays - Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
    You may be required to work on the actual holiday for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day.


    3) Department Remodels and Resets:

    Occasionally, you may be required to be a part of an installation team and work on activities to include, but not limited to, building Hallmark fixtures, moving card departments, installing fixtures and product and remodeling card departments.

    Typically you will receive at least a 2-week notice for remodel/reset work.



    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - All Positions

    This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the work day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also be required to stoop, squat, walk, and stand throughout your work day, and you may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.



    REQUIREMENTS - All Positions

    Able to operate hand-held technology provided to open and read documents and interpret information

    Flexibility to work a changing work schedule that may include an occasional evening or weekend

    Participants will have exposure to credit and sales rotations and get hands-on training from industry leaders, developing skills in assessing credit risk by analysis of financial statements, cash flow, industry, collateral, guarantor, loan structure and developing key critical thinking skills needed in a career driving economic growth. Upon program completion, you'll have access to potential placement opportunities in roles such as: Commercial Associate Relationship Manager, Credit Analyst or Business Banking Client Manager.

    JOB DUTIES

    Complete the underwriting process with oversight (by the end of the 1st rotation)
    Assess credit risk using financial statement, cash flow, industry, collateral, guarantor, and loan structure analyses
    Update financial covenants as needed
    Run Probability of Default (PD) model with oversight
    Partner with Portfolio Managers to support the daily underwriting and credit monitoring duties while performing analytical tasks as needed
    Understand and evaluate completed spreads to determine necessary edits
    Identify and recommend preliminary portfolio management actions using credit service reporting and RADAR with oversight
    Grow technical skills to assess credit risk using analysis of financial statements, cash flow, industry, collateral, guarantor, and loan structure
    Use Dealpoint Profitability Analyzer to assess the client relationship and determine RAROC value.
    Assist in identifying and qualifying prospects with relationship manager
    Partner with Relationship Managers to perform projects or analytical tasks as needed
    Draft initial deal screen / opportunity memos.
    Build an extensive network of contacts within Commercial and supporting divisions.
    Attend formal training classes, complete assigned e-Learning courses and participate in extensive self-learning

    Reliable transportation is required, and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to other fifth third locations and to meet our client needs across the Chicago metropolitan area.





    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:



    Upon hire, a completed four-year undergraduate degree in Business required (accounting, economics, finance degrees preferred) with a graduation date within 2022-2023
    A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

    Relevant internship/co-op experience

    Part Time Retail Merchandiser

    The Retail Merchandiser is a part-time position that performs service work in the Hallmark department in various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores and mass retailers. These positions do not service Hallmark Card Shops.

    This is your opportunity to represent the world's best-known greeting card brand and develop retailer relationships in your community. Hallmark provides paid training, paid travel time and mileage reimbursement between stores and access to a variety of corporate discounts.

    There are three major components of this PART-TIME position:

    1) Day to Day Service:

    Product merchandising: You will handle all aspects of product merchandising within your assigned stores. You will use a Hallmark-issued, hand-held mobile device to replenish, straighten and track inventory of Hallmark products. This could include products placed inside the Hallmark department or within other areas of the store.

    Store employee and customer interaction: You must interact in a professional manner with store employees, store management and customers while in the store.

    Schedule: Your Territory Supervisor will clarify your specific schedule. Work is typically scheduled Monday through Friday during the day and hours will increase during holiday periods.

    2) Holiday Support:

    Hallmark's business is season driven. Your scheduled days and hours will increase the week before and after the following holidays - Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

    You may be required to work on the actual holiday for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day.

    3) Department Remodels and Resets:

    Occasionally, you may be required to be a part of an installation team and work on activities to include, but not limited to, building Hallmark fixtures, moving card departments, installing fixtures and product and remodeling card departments.

    Typically you will receive at least a 2-week notice for remodel/reset work.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - All Positions

    This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the work day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also be required to stoop, squat, walk, and stand throughout your work day, and you may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

    GENERAL FUNCTION:

    Selected candidates are intended to become a Retail Personal Banker II after completing a 4-8 week on-boarding and education program that includes rotations in Operations and Sales & Service. There will be a certification at the conclusion of the program to provide selected candidates the opportunity to demonstrate skills necessary to successfully perform a role within the Retail Personal Banker job family.
