    Position Summary: The Environmental intern will assist LESS and Lakeside Association in implementing the Lakeside Association LCA Strategic Plan’s Environmental and Ecology workgroup recommendations for 2026 and beyond. The environmental intern will also self-select an area listed below that is most closely aligned with the career field pursued by the intern. A strong emphasis will be placed on measures and goals.

    The Environmental Intern reports directly to the Lakeside Environmental Stewardship Society (LESS) President (Frank Baker) in collaboration with the Lakeside Association Municipal Services Department with regards to all aspects of their position. The Lakeside Director of Education (John Mann will assist LESS with oversight of the intern program.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Possibly set a plan for the 2025 intern to implement.Participate in all LESS meetings/events and report sustainability progress. (Board meetings are scheduled for each month during the Chautauqua Program Season.Participate in all Lakeside intern activities, forums and gatherings.Facilitate food waste recycling, expanding the program to all LCA owned properties and activitiesAssist in creating and administering a LESS marketing plan including sourcing and managing LESS promotional material.Assist in creating, promoting, and administering Sustainability programming.

    Career related options to self-select as a development focus:

    Conduct and maintain an audit identifying and recording current green practices in Lakeside-owned facilities and businesses (i.e., energy efficiency efforts, recycling, etc.), targeting practices that could be expanded or can be of significant impact.Recommend new green practices in Lakeside for implementation (i.e., use of sustainable materials, solar power, wind power, Electric Vehicle use incentives, Zero Energy construction principles, etc.)Coordinate with surrounding communities to explore partnership opportunities. Review the Strategic Plan’s Environmental and Ecology Plan and make recommendations for improvements.Other duties as assigned

    Job Overview:

    As a Utilities Technician at OcyonBio, you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of facility and utility systems supporting cGMP manufacturing. This role reports to the Facility Utility Manager.


    Responsibilities

    · Operate and maintain HVAC, chilled water, potable water, electrical, BMS, compressed air, and nitrogen systems.

    · Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

    · Troubleshoot utility systems and implement repairs.

    · Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, and cGMP requirements.

    · Document work using CMMS.

    · Support validation and commissioning activities.

    · Maintain logs and audit-ready documentation.

    · Respond to alarms and emergency situations.


    Education / Qualifications

    · Associate degree in technical field or equivalent experience.

    · 2+ years in GMP-regulated environment.

    Programación y Estrategia
