    The Opportunity

    We are a rapidly growing manufacturer's rep firm based in Texas that represents commercial HVAC products. We are currently seeking a Parts Counter Sales person responsible for processing customer orders and responding to customer's inquiries. Must have attention to detail, be customer service oriented and work well with others. This position needs a self-motivated team player who can be an active part of our team and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

    Responsibilities

    Conducts sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone, by email, and over the counter.Promptly identify parts and process quotes & orders for customers.Actively makes customers aware of product promotions.May load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.Responds to customer inquiries, questions, or concerns regarding products or services.Records inventory discrepanciesFollows up with customersDetermines best method to resolve customer issuesDevelop & maintain relationships with customers and our business partnersExhibits strong organizational and customer service skills.Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

    The Required Profile

    High school diploma or GED equivalentComputer skills are essential, HVAC Parts background is preferredHVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus.

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

    Environmental Requirements

    Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    Propósito del puesto:
    Realizar diagnósticos y reparaciones de la mayoría de los sistemas del vehículo con mínima supervisión, garantizando trabajos de alta calidad y alineados con los estándares operacionales y de servicio.

    RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES

    Ejecutar trabajos según la orden de reparación de forma eficiente y conforme a los estándares establecidos.Diagnosticar fallas y realizar reparaciones en sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos y electrónicos del vehículo.Atender sistemas como motor, transmisión, dirección, suspensión, frenos, sistemas eléctricos, seguridad y tecnología del vehículo (incluyendo híbridos y asistencia al conductor).Identificar necesidades de servicio adicional y comunicarlo oportunamente al supervisor.Documentar diagnósticos, procedimientos, causa y solución en la orden de reparación.Coordinar con el departamento de piezas para la obtención de materiales necesarios.Mantenerse actualizado en boletines técnicos y procedimientos.Asegurar el buen manejo y cuidado de los vehículos de clientes.Mantener el área de trabajo limpia, organizada y segura.Cumplir con las normas de seguridad y regulaciones aplicables.
