As a Pest Service Specialist, you will be the hero customers rely on to keep their homes and businesses pest-free. You will:
Provide interior and exterior pest control services using sprays, baits, traps, and Integrated Pest Management strategies
Inspect homes and properties to identify pest issues and recommend solutions
Install and monitor Sentricon systems and termite treatments
Assist teammates by covering routes during PTO or staffing shortages
Perform bed bug treatments (steam, liquid, or heat applications)
Install wildlife traps, seal entry points, apply TAP insulation, and perform light exclusion work
Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and on ladders up to 40 ft
Communicate clearly with customers after, during, and after service
Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and paperwork
Identify additional service needs and generate leads or proposals
Participate in ongoing training and development
What You Need to Qualify
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license; must be 18+
Ability to pass:
7‑year criminal background check
Substance abuse testing
3‑year motor vehicle report meeting insurance requirements
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks (climb, crawl, kneel, stoop, etc.)
Strong communication skills (phone, in‑person, written)
Basic math skills
Ability to work Saturdays
Must work safely and remain alert — this is a safety‑sensitive position

Our Position
This position will have a designated route where you will be responsible for fulfilling a daily production schedule, operating under limited supervision, arriving to customers in a timely basis, explaining the scope of services you will provide for them, controlling insects, rodents and other pests involving application of professional products and tactics. Pest Service Professional will conduct home and property inspections by identifying potential and actual pest problems, remove unwanted pests including but not limited to roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, etc., and offer detailed plans on how to effectively treat infestation areas and design further control strategies such as Integrated Pest Management.

Maintain service schedules for all customers on assigned route, calling customer prior to their service.Inspect/Troubleshoot pest infestations as needed to employ sound pest control strategies to maintain a pest free environment for customers on assigned route.Communicate effectively with customers prior to, during and after service delivery in order to assess and meet their needs.Continuously monitor infestation/rodent areas and pest application methods (i.e. baits, traps, etc.) after application and communicate progress to customers and operation managers.Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.Participate in ongoing training programs to constantly improve upon skill level.Complete and submit service-related paperwork in a timely and orderly fashion.Maintain assigned service vehicle, equipment, and tools in clean/good working condition.Adhere and abide to all driving laws/company policies when operating company vehicles.Responsible for data integrity in the PestPac and other software systems used by the organization.Assist in Sentricon termite bait station checks.Participate in collections efforts.Our Requirements
Complete a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.Position requires successful completion of 30-day initial training (classroom and field training) and earning minimum of two CEU’s annually.Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age.Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 50lbs or more.Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.Ability to calculate basic math.Working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.This is a safety-sensitive position; where a momentary lapse of concentration can result in serious injury, death, environmental consequences, or data breach.Must be able to work Saturdays.Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check.Must be able to pass company drug screen and/or substance abuse testing.Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier.Rocket Pest is an equal opportunity employer.
