    Job Summary:

    The Adjunct Instructor of Accounting has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, teaching accounting courses and completing all duties associated with teaching. Assigned classes may occur during the day, evening, and/or online with varying teaching locations including on-campus, dual enrollment, and Early College High School. This is an exempt position that reports to LSCPA's Business and Industrial Technology Department.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Master's degree required with 18 graduate hours in Finance or Accounting
    • Must have experience within the accounting field
    • Work independently in the classroom
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Possess great time management and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Finance or Accounting
    • Experience and proficiency in using Blackboard or similar learning management system

    Salary:

    $2,400 per 3 semester credit hour (SCH) course per semester.

    Work Hours:

    Flexible, part-time; depending upon class schedule.
