    Job Summary:

    The Solutions Engineer II is responsible for the successful implementation of project work in the Integris Professional Services department. They are also responsible for owning solution implementations for internal and external customers, meeting project deadlines, creating Integris documentation, and working in a team environment to provide the highest level of service. This position acts as the lead engineer on customer projects, participating in standard creation, automation, product, and technology evaluation.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Assist in or communicate project milestones with project management, client, and internal service teams.Support and execute tasks related to: Exchange and SharePoint migrations – lead planning and execution, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations. Tenant-to-Tenant and Azure infrastructure migrations – design migration strategies, implement secure configurations, and validate performance. Networking fundamentals – configure VLANs, firewalls, and switches; diagnose and resolve advanced connectivity issues. Virtualization technologies – manage VMware and Hyper-V environments, including resource optimization and failover planning. Domain controllers and file share migrations – own Active Directory restructuring and file share migrations with minimal downtime. Onboarding processes – serve as escalation point for account setup and ensure compliance with security standards. Maintain and develop skills matrix competencies as defined by manager. Maintain project client satisfaction in line with company goals. Consults and works closely with project managers, clients, and co-workers to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions. Ensure project tasks/deliverables are completed and client technical needs are met; sometimes utilizing specialist resources while maintaining project ownership. Collaborate with co-workers and serve as technical resource to resolve any problems/situations that may arise, serving as a mentor and highest escalation point to all technical Professional Services resources. Creates standards for systems requirements while also developing automation and process improvements. Document all aspects of technical work to provide appropriate information for client billing and ongoing support. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards. Lead the development and documentation of project deployment standards. May require business travel locally or nationally up to 20% of time to facilitate project implementation.


    Job Qualifications

    Education/Certification Requirements:

    Associate’s degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent education/experience.Certification Requirements: Must have, or complete, AZ-305, CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, VCP, Azure Solution Architect, M365 Enterprise Expert Admin, FCSS in Network Security or Network Security Essential for Cloud-Managed Fireboxes, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

    Experience Requirements:

    4+ years working in Information Technology, experience with an MSP is preferred. 1-2 years of project implementation experience. 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Server Administration, Implementation and Migrations Moderate to Extensive knowledge of mainstream virtualization technologies and 1-2 years of hands-on experience migrating between them Moderate to Extensive knowledge of Server Operating systems and best practice configurations as well as 1-3 years hands experience of deep troubleshooting in those environments. Moderate knowledge of networking infrastructure best practices. ex. VLAN, Firewall, switching, layer 3 routing and managed networking appliances. Able to deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot firewalls, manage switches, wireless controllers and WAPs. Moderate knowledge of and 1-2 years’ hands on experience with Enterprise Backup solutions Ex. SAN’s and on-premises and off premises backup solutions ITIL concept familiarity
