  Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

  Job description:

  Dick Lavy Trucking, Inc., a respected name in the transportation industry, is hiring

  a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their team. Known for professionalism and a

  family-like atmosphere, this role offers hands-on work with semi-truck diesel

  engines and a supportive shop environment.

  Requirements:

  Valid driver’s license (CDL-A preferred)High School Diploma or GED1+ year experience in diesel engine repair and mechanical workOwn tools and strong diagnostic skillsMust pass background check and drug screenTeam-oriented mindset

  Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

  Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues (Volvo, Freightliner)Address fuel, electrical, cooling, and engine failuresPerform preventative maintenance and use computer diagnostic systemsCollaborate with other shop staff in a team setting

  Schedule:

  Second shift: 12pm–9:30pm (4 weekdays)Sunday: 9am–3pmSaturday: OffOne weekday off (flexible)

  Type: Full-time
