Description The Outpatient Technicians are responsible for performing all types of EEG procedures; including Routine EEG, Long-Term EEG study, EEG Disconnects, EEG Monitoring and/or other EEG related services or responsibilities as required by CortiCare. The settings for the EEG procedures include hospitals, patient homes, physician offices, and clinical trial sites. This includes preparing the patient for testing, collecting data, and performing administrative items including signing additional paperwork. The Technician may also be responsible for data communication to servers, and equipment maintenance. Requirements Primary Responsibilities: Driving to and from patients’ homes to disconnect EEG, complete electrode repairs, and troubleshoot equipment Meticulous data entry and reconciliation skills per CortiCare established protocols Uploads the ambulatory EEG study and attaching the event log onto Company servers Removes, cleans and creates inventory of EEG recording devices from patient during the disconnect time Job Requirements: Unless otherwise agreed upon, the Allied Health Professional should have experience across all patient demographics (neonatal, pediatric, adult) Friendly, patient, professional and has a courteous demeanor Exceptional technical and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Organizational skills Healthcare/medical experience, a plus Valid driver’s license Physical Requirements Lifting as many as two cases, in and out of your vehicle from the testing site; An average case weighs less than 30 lbs Ability to drive up to 6 hours in a day, as necessary CortiCare is an EEO employer.
